Couture vs. Coleman @ UFC 109!

Be sure to watch UFC 109 next weekend (2/6) as Randy Couture takes on Mark Coleman in the main event.  This will be the first time that two currently active members of the UFC Hall of Fame will fight.  Randy’s training camp with me has been the best one we’ve ever had; he’s in phenomenal shape!!

Congratulations Evan!

Congratulations to Evan Dunham on his victory at UFC Fight Night 20.  Evan defeated Efrain Escudero by submission in the third round.  Evan trained very hard for this fight; it’s a much deserved victory.

Congratulations Ryan Couture & Jimmy Jones!

Congratulations to Ryan Couture and Jimmy Jones on their victories this past weekend.  Both Ryan and Jimmy defeated their opponents in the first round.  Ryan won by Rear Naked Choke, and Jimmy won by TKO stoppage.   Jimmy retained his 135lb Tuff-N-Uff belt in the process. 

 

Congratulations to Martin Kampmann & Sam Stout!

Congratulations to Martin Kampmann and Sam Stout on their victories this past weekend at UFC 108.  Martin defeated Jacob Volkmann in the first round by guillotine choke.  Sam defeated Joe Lauzon by unanimous decision, and took home Fight of The Night honors in the process.  

Training Session With Horodecki & Stout

Here are some photos from a recent training session with Chris Horodecki and Sam Stout.  Chris is set to make his WEC debut against Anthony Njokuani.  The fight will be shown LIVE on the VS Channel on Saturday, December 19th.  Sam Stout is preparing for his fight against Joe Lauzon at UFC 108.  Sam’s fight will be shown live on Pay-per-view.

Be sure to watch the Strikeforce fights LIVE on Showtime this Friday night (25th) as Xtreme Couture’s Ray Sefo makes his U.S. MMA debut aginst Kevin Jordan.  Ray’s been training for many months for this fight with coach Shawn Tompkins, myself, and the rest of the team at Xtreme Couture.  Ray’s a six-time kickboxing world champion and has competed in the K-1 World Grand Prix eight times.  Here is a look at some of his career highlights:
